Repositioning an Established Agricultural Brand into a Trusted Digital Growth Platform

GrainKing is an established Australian manufacturer of grain handling equipment, supporting farmers and agribusinesses with solutions designed to improve harvest efficiency, safety and productivity.

With a history dating back to 1962 and more than 40 years of grain bin manufacturing experience, GrainKing had strong products, deep industry expertise and an established market reputation. However, its previous brand presentation and website did not fully communicate the quality, innovation or scale behind the business.

Brighta was engaged to refine GrainKing’s brand and visual identity, strengthen its market positioning and rebuild the website on WordPress into a clearer, more credible and conversion-focused digital platform.

What We Do

Project Highlights

The Challenge

GrainKing had a strong reputation in the agricultural market, but its previous digital presence did not reflect the true strength of the business.

The visual identity lacked consistency across the website, the messaging did not clearly communicate GrainKing’s market position, and the user journey was not aligned with how farmers research and purchase high-value agricultural equipment.

The previous website also made it difficult for users to understand the relationship between GrainKing’s machines, models and compatible attachment options.

For farmers and agribusinesses investing in high-value equipment, specifications alone are not enough. Buyers need confidence in the manufacturer, product performance, reliability, after-sales support and long-term value.

The objective was to reposition GrainKing as a trusted agricultural equipment partner and create a website that could guide users from initial research through to product selection, demonstration, quotation and enquiry.

Our Approach

Complete Brand, Website Strategy, UX & Development transformation

The work began well before design. We first needed to understand GrainKing’s audiences, product architecture, sales process and the information buyers require when evaluating agricultural equipment.

1.  Brand Strategy, Positioning and Visual Identity

GrainKing had an established brand with strong market recognition. The goal was not to replace that equity, but to refine and strengthen how the brand appeared across digital touchpoints.

Brighta refined:

  • Brand positioning and core messaging
  • Visual identity and digital brand application
  • Typography, colours and supporting design elements
  • Messaging around innovation, reliability and farmer outcomes
  • Consistency across website layouts, content and campaigns

The revised brand presentation gives GrainKing a more modern and professional identity while retaining its existing market recognition and heritage.

The new messaging places greater emphasis on:

  • Australian innovation and engineering
  • More than 40 years of grain bin manufacturing experience
  • Equipment designed for demanding agricultural conditions
  • Improved harvest efficiency, safety and productivity
  • Long-term reliability and after-sales support
  • GrainKing’s role as a trusted partner to Australian farmers
2. Website Strategy, Sitemap and Buyer Journey Planning

The website strategy was developed around how farmers research, compare and purchase high-value agricultural equipment.

We reviewed:

  • GrainKing’s existing website structure
  • Product families, models, capacities and attachments
  • Customer audiences and purchasing considerations
  • Demonstration and quotation processes
  • CRM and lead-management requirements
  • Content, SEO and future campaign needs

This informed the development of:

  • A revised sitemap
  • Website information architecture
  • Customer journey maps
  • Page-level wireframes
  • CTA and conversion pathway planning
  • Product and attachment selection logic

The new structure was designed to help users move naturally from broad product discovery into detailed evaluation, customer proof and conversion.

3. UI/UX Design and Content Experience

Brighta developed design concepts and high-fidelity UI/UX mockups before development began.

The website design focused on:

  • A visual direction aligned with the refined brand identity
  • Clear hierarchy across product and content pages
  • Stronger product imagery and real-world applications
  • More scannable specifications and technical information
  • Consistent calls to action
  • Improved spacing and content structure
  • Responsive usability across desktop, tablet and mobile
  • Stronger integration of photography, video and customer proof

The content was also restructured and rewritten to communicate GrainKing’s value more clearly.

Rather than focusing only on technical features, the new messaging connects products with the operational outcomes farmers care about, including efficiency, capacity, reliability and harvest productivity.

4. Photography and Videography

Original photography and videography formed an important part of the project.

The visual direction focused on showing GrainKing’s equipment in real agricultural environments rather than relying on generic or disconnected product imagery.

The photography and video content captured:

  • GrainKing equipment operating in real harvest conditions
  • Product scale, engineering and key details
  • Farmers and operators using the equipment
  • Practical product applications
  • The people and expertise behind the GrainKing brand

This created a more authentic and credible visual experience while giving GrainKing a reusable library of brand assets for the website, campaigns and future marketing activity.

5. Product Architecture and Discovery

GrainKing has several product families, with multiple models, capacities and configurations within each range.

The new product architecture was structured around:

  • Nyrex Chaser Bins
  • Geminus Seed and Super Bins
  • Maximus Motherbins
  • Dynamis Field Bins

Each product family now has a dedicated pathway that helps users understand:

  • What the product is designed for
  • Available models and capacities
  • Key features and specifications
  • Relevant applications and outcomes
  • Compatible attachments and options
  • Demonstration and quotation pathways

This made product discovery clearer and reduced the friction involved in comparing equipment.

6. Machine and Attachment Quotation Journey

A key part of the project was improving how users request quotes for GrainKing equipment.

Previously, users were not clearly guided through the relationship between the main machine and its compatible attachments.

Brighta redesigned the quotation journey so users can:

  1. Select the primary machine they are interested in
  2. Add the machine to their quote request
  3. Review a contextual popup showing compatible attachments and options
  4. Add relevant attachments before continuing
  5. Submit a more complete and informed quotation request

This improves the buyer experience while giving GrainKing’s sales team better information before the initial follow-up.

It also creates a more natural cross-sell opportunity by presenting attachment options at the most relevant point in the journey.

7. Demo Landing Page and Lead Generation

Product demonstrations are an important part of GrainKing’s sales process. They allow prospective buyers to understand equipment performance before committing to a high-value purchase.

Brighta created a dedicated demonstration landing page designed to:

  • Promote GrainKing’s product demonstrations
  • Support paid, social and organic campaigns
  • Explain the value of seeing equipment in operation
  • Capture product interest and preferred demonstration details
  • Generate more structured demonstration enquiries
  • Connect submissions directly with the CRM

The page gives GrainKing a focused conversion asset that can support regional demonstration activity and future lead-generation campaigns.

8. Custom WordPress Development

The approved designs and journeys were developed into a flexible WordPress website.

The new platform includes:

  • Structured product category and model pages
  • Reusable content and campaign components
  • Product specifications and feature sections
  • Machine and attachment quotation functionality
  • Customer case study templates
  • Agri News and educational content
  • Technical resources and brochure downloads
  • Photography and video galleries
  • Support and service pathways
  • Responsive layouts across all devices

The WordPress foundation gives GrainKing greater control over its products, resources, customer stories and future marketing campaigns.

9. CRM Integration and Conversion Pathways

Calls to action were placed throughout the website based on different levels of buyer intent.

Key conversion pathways include:

  • Book a Demo
  • Request a Quote
  • Enquire About This Product
  • Contact a GrainKing Expert
  • Download a Brochure
  • Access Technical Resources
  • Subscribe for Updates
  • Submit a Service Request

Website forms and lead pathways were connected with the CRM to improve:

  • Lead capture
  • Product-interest tracking
  • Campaign attribution
  • Sales follow-up visibility
  • Lead management and reporting

This created a clearer connection between the website, marketing activity and GrainKing’s sales process.

10. Testimonials, Case Studies and Trust Signals

Trust is critical when buyers are evaluating high-value agricultural equipment.

Brighta repositioned testimonials, customer proof and credibility signals across the website so buyers encounter evidence throughout the journey rather than only on isolated pages.

The trust framework includes:

  • Customer testimonials
  • Real product applications
  • Customer case studies
  • GrainKing’s manufacturing history
  • Warranty information
  • Australian innovation and engineering messaging
  • Support and after-sales pathways
  • Product performance outcomes
  • Industry and distribution proof

The case study pages were also redesigned to better communicate:

  • The customer’s original challenge
  • The GrainKing solution
  • The selected equipment
  • Practical and operational outcomes
  • Supporting photography and customer feedback

This helps prospective buyers understand how GrainKing’s equipment performs in real farming environments.

11. SEO and Content Structure

The website was structured to support both product-led and informational search journeys.

The SEO framework included:

  • Dedicated pages for each product family
  • Individual model and capacity pages
  • Search-focused product messaging
  • Improved headings and internal linking
  • Educational Agri News content
  • Customer case studies supporting commercial search intent
  • Technical resources answering common buyer questions
  • Stronger alignment between search intent and conversion pathways

This provides GrainKing with a scalable content foundation for reaching farmers across different stages of the research and purchasing journey.

The Outcome

New website now better reflects the experience, product quality and market credibility behind the business.

The website now works as more than a product catalogue. It supports brand positioning, product education, trust-building, buyer qualification and lead generation throughout the customer journey.
